Serbian School and Folklore

Dear Parents,

Our church community is more than simply a place where we come to worship. It is our spiritual home — a place where we gather, grow together, and where we want our children to find their place, discover their roots, and develop a strong sense of belonging.

For this reason, we warmly invite you to become an active part of our community and to help us make it stronger and continue to grow. Our community can and should grow, and its future lies especially in our children. It is our responsibility to give them the opportunity to grow up knowing their faith, their language, their traditions, and their culture — knowing who they are and where their roots come from.

A special place in this mission belongs to the preservation and nurturing of the Serbian language. Language is more than simply a means of communication; it is a keeper of our memory, our history, our customs, and everything that generations before us have entrusted to us. Teaching our children and preserving the Serbian language is therefore one of the greatest gifts we can give them.

Through our Serbian School and Folklore program, we want to give our children the opportunity to learn, make friendships, sing, dance, and discover the beauty of their cultural heritage. We want what our ancestors passed down to us not to remain merely a memory, but to continue to live in our homes, in our church, and above all, in our children.

May our children grow in love for God, their Church, their language, and their heritage, while also growing in love and respect for all those with whom they share their lives. Let us build a community where our youngest members feel truly at home — surrounded by faith, friendship, love, and the richness of their heritage.
